Recharge on the grass?

No, iphones don't grow from seeds (I wish!), but even electronics like a good lounge on the grass (that might be a stretch...). Either way, you can charge your electronics and hide pesky cords with this recharger concept from Kikkerland.

Grab and Go Summer Bouquet

I know you don't like stopping when you are rushing around in your automobile BUT now really IS a good time to stop and smell the roses- I mean the flowers. This gorgeous work of art was harvested off of Highway One, exit McGill. Keep your scissors handy and your eyes out for the wild sweet peas in pretty pink and the tansy with the polka dot yellow flowers. Add a few sprigs of twining vines for accent then gather them up in a bunch and voila!
(Even at kermodi, a girl still likes flowers)

Outstanding in the Field

My love affair with farming continues...

Outstanding in the Field is a "roving culinary adventure" whose mission is to "re-connect diners to the land and the origins of their food, and to honor the local farmers and food artisans who cultivate it." Diners sit communaly on one big table, set up in the great outdoors, often steps from where the food was grown.

Outstanding in the field is coming to Vancouver and Pemberton in July.
